 Our optical line of adhesives
is used for bonding and protective coating in various fiber
optic applications. Our epoxy adhesives are used frequently
to bundle optical fibers and bond components in
optoelectronic devices used for telecommunication networks,
aircraft, satellites, medical and scientific instruments,
including scopes.
Some typical uses of Epoxy Technology’s optical epoxy
products include :
 EPO-TEK
301-2 and EPO-TEK 353ND,
epoxy adhesive are commonly used in fiber connections
- can be either applied as a coating over stripped fiber, or
- injected into the conductor with a syringe
In
sensor applications, commonly EPO-TEK 302 is used for IR
detectors and EPO-TEK 301 for medical CT detectors
